AUV The Childlike Empress

Sealog Empress is the event logging system used to document deployments of the AUV The Childlike Empress. During operations, entries are maintained primarily by the Science Department, with minimal input required from visiting science teams. Following each mission, Sealog generates a summary report capturing key events, milestones, and operational metrics, which is archived alongside the associated Kongsberg AUV data products.
Sealog is accessible via 10.23.11.25/sealog-emp/ in any web browser, or you can use the “Sealog-Empress” link at 10.23.11.25. Currently, Sealog can only be reached while onboard the ship.
At the end of every dive, a summary of the key events of each dive gets automatically created and archived along with the other data downloaded from the Vehicle.
